01-22-2019 08:22 PMAnother year in movies, another year lost due to a lack of vision to recreate the Rambo and Terminator 2 characters! And that leaves us with the eternal question in film: Can anybody find me, somebody to love !

01-22-2019 10:59 PMLack of vision, lack of creativity; both are reasons (among others) why we see a deluge of reboots on television and long-dormant or dead shows returning to TV (like Roswell, CW's recycling of the WB's 1999 TV series) and movie reboots (too many to name here, but I hear they're set to put a new Hellboy on the big screen). Last film I saw in a theater was The Return of the King in 2003.

01-23-2019 03:37 AMThe masses don't. I did not plug Lady Gaga, perhaps the sarcasm escaped you. I didn't plug Green Book, I said I enjoyed it. I enjoy a good hamburger but I don't plug it as great cuisine. I said Bohemian Rhapsody had great music, full stop. As a movie it was average. As to Black Panther my comment was differentiating it as a movie aimed at Black people created by Black people, whereas Green Book was a white movie made to make white people feel good.
