looks like he's going to be at the PV Summit this weekend.

01-15-2019 07:11 PMIt also appears that he won't have the identical meet schedule as the rest of the team. Last weekend, he didn't compete in Birmingham where the rest of the team was and this weekend the bulk of the team is headed to Lubbock.

01-15-2019 07:41 PMHis season openers:
2015 4.90
2016 5.33
2017 5.61
2018 5.83
A collegiate indoor record in his debut isn't out of the question. That's just nuts.

01-15-2019 07:49 PMThat is a bit much to ask this early in the season, 6.16 is STOUT!! He is an amazing athlete thou. I think the 5.91 from Barber is in jeopardy thou.

01-15-2019 08:27 PMI, for one, expect a 5.80-5.90. Anything more than that is undue expectation for the VERY FIRST COLLEGE MEET this kid has ever been in.
CAN he jump 6.00 (or higher) right now? Of course he can, but where's the utility in that? If he starts now at ONLY 5.80, then we have the exciting suspense of watching him get SRs. Indoors is just . . . indoors. Outdoors is where it's at and . . . at . . . is Doha, many, many, many months away. I'll take a 6.10 or 6.20 THEN, thank you very much. There's no fun in him jumping super this early; it's all anti-climactic after that if he does.

01-15-2019 11:08 PMI presume it would. But just in case, he could put the bar up to 6.18
