Saw that Craig Mottram made the famous birthdays in the local rag yesterday - born 1980, so the big 40 next year.

Started a new thread for the Oceanian championships - partly because I was trying to find out if there would be a live results and/or stream (yes).

Not sure if there will be live results from tomorrow's warm-up meet.

Nicola McDermott jumps to =#3 all-time in WHJ with her 1.96 in Ostrava. Has improved 5 cms this year.

Only Inverarity and Ward (both 1.98) in front of her.

AA's release of the NASS squad today included a couple of interesting points (one I mentioned in the Sasha Zhoya thread).

The other lists a member of the 'development' squad (potential to reach podium possibility within two years) is:

    Eleanor Patterson (NSWIS)

I presume she's refocussed on her HJ career including a move to Sydney.

Jessica Hull's 4:02.62 at Pre moves her to #4 all time Aussie in w1500M (behind Hall, Jamieson & Crowley, and ahead of Buckman, Griffith, Blundell, Corrigan).

Stew McSweyn's 2 miler in 8:16.28 sees him #2 alltime, but almost 13s behind the NR (and two other Mottram performances).

Rosie Donegan has just improved PB another 2secs to 9:38.75 at Princeton Qualifier. This gives her a Q for Doha, and she stays #6 on alltime W3000mSt list.

So, that's 4 Aussie women under 10min this year, all with PBs:
    Donegan 9:38.75
    Campbel 9:45.77
    Winkcup 9:46.51
    Illarda 9:50.42

And we're yet to see LaCaze and Hills in action...
