Disaster Tyson Invite ESPN coverage (Fri & Sat) is noted below:

NO announcer, Just two cameras looking at the track (not the field)
No field coverage what so ever
    No split of races
Camera at finish line cut to the result board as soon as the first runner finished in races from 800m and up. You could not even see 2nd and 3rd placer if they were 5-6 meters back.

Thank you ESPN. Any coverage (good or bad) is better than no coverage IMO.

Question: Why cann't we have more such cheap coverage?

IAAF report on recent meets -- some results I had not seen, including Jakob Ingebrigtsen's 3:36.21, which is reported here as U20 record (though Samuel Tefera's 3:36.05 from last year is actually at the top of IAAF's all-time U20 list). In any case, another outstanding mark from JI.

Most notably international at the British Indoor Champs were probably Holly Bradshaw's 4.80 PV and Laura Muir running the last 400 of the 3000m in under 57 seconds to beat Melissa Courtney. She was one of the Scots responsible for them having the winner in both 400s, both 1500s and both 3000s.

Tefera's mark was not ratified, so, as noted by the IAAF, the official WU20R was 3:36.28. And what makes Ingebrigtsen's mark all the more impressive is that it was a solo run, where he won by over 10 seconds.

If you want to win the big one, you better have a kick, and as wDist kicks go, that's a gud'n.
