If she'd done that in 2007, 2012, or 2015, she'd be the American record holder at the distance, but good run from her. I think she had a much better exchange than Okolo did.

51.45 to 51.36 over 6 weeks doesn't seem like a steep improvement to me. Felix won't be near under 51 in another month. And I'm assuming they're pretty happy with where she's at a year out from her goal, so not looking to push things.

to longterm readers of T&FN (and that is this site, obviously), "World Rankings" refers to the T&FN Rankings.

we've never used the terminology of "rankings" for yearly lists.
