I would be very happy for any link to one of these races (even short clips) or any info where I can get some of these!

I doubt there is any video of the Wohlhuter race...that was the Restoration Meet where Pre and Shorter raced in an epic 3 mile and I never heard of any video of that race. It certainly would have been in Fire on the Track.

I met Boit once about 40 years ago in Eugene....I was on a run with some friends and we pass Boit...I said to him great run at Drake Relays...and smiles and starts running with us...and he is in street clothes! Long pants, dress shirt, loafers and he runs a couple of miles with us chatting the whole time...then suddenly quits...great guy I must say.
