RJ Barrett was the best player in the game and is currently the best player on the Duke roster. That is not just my opinion. Williamson is just louder about it.

We're not discussing who is the most impressive athlete. It is who the best basketball player is/was (at least as far as my comment resulted in the response).

If you combined Barrett and Williamson you'd have LeBron coming out of HS.

but 1 season will make a 1 and done :-)

Exactly right. In 2001 despite having Jay Williams, Shane Battier, Chris Duhon, and Mike Dunleavy, I think the reason they won the NCAAs was Nate James, a true "dirt dog" type - who now sits next to Krzyzewski as Associate Head Coach

This was one game. Agreed, they looked incredible, but its one game. Its a long season.
Indeed, the Blue Devils did not make it to December undefeated, falling to Gonzaga in Maui 89-87.

Zags have a heck of a team and they will be better when they get the Frenchman back.

Duke has looked like a team playing with a bunch of freshman for at least a couple of games.

Against Wake Forest, Williamson had 30 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Plus, he showed his range with with three 3-pointers in the victory. Yet the highlight reels focused on the eye candy that are Williamson’s slams.
