    lonewolf, have you looked at the pricing on Amazon? I think you'll be able to save some money by buying 8 or 12 cans at a time. If this stuff is really a significant part of your diet, that shouldn't be a problem and the savings could be significant.

    Yep, checked Campbells online, learned they have had stock price problems for some time but no mention of specific items of inflation.
    Amazon and Walmart bulk prices are about $1.59/can, same as the "discounted" store prices.

    At the rate at which I am recycling metal objects at my home, Campbell’s should be awash in tin steel to make their cans. One of the few directions California got right.

    Ha!!! I am please to report that my boycott is working.
    Stopped in Target for loaf of bread on way home from soccer game (3-2 win), chanced down soup aisle. All varieties of Campbells Chunky on sale for 99 cents/can, marked down from $2.29/can.
    I bought 82 cans, cleared the shelves of my favorite flavors.
