    Here's my prediction for tomorrow:

    Morocco

Echoing Fitzgerald as he ended The Great Gatsby:

"And so we beat on, boats against the current. Borne back ceaselessly into the past."

They'll get every African vote, all former Soviet bloc votes, most of the Middle East and Islam-nation votes, probably several of the CONCACAF votes (Cuba, Venezuela, possibly more), a few other nations - that should be enough

Here's what is happening now in the Kremlin - saw it in a scene last week in The Day of the Jackal, "We made some inquiries, some money changed hands, and we had our result"

Everything I've read for the last week said the North American bid was a shoo-in.

Atlanta sports talk radio and TV are a buzzing about this. There is a very good chance Atlanta will get one of the semi-finals, which is pretty amazing.

Are you suggesting that the iAAF World Championships don't mean something?

I think he is suggesting all of the pro leagues that basically only have Americans in them are not actual World Championships, even though the winners claim to be World Champions.

I hear Eugene is getting a spiffy new stadium. Maybe they could host group play.
