I got the March date from tila. I've no idea which of these two dates is correct.

OK, I just did a little poking around and found this article, written last month, describing her as a 15-year old. That would suggest that the IAAF birth date is correct.

This US Junior list confirms her birthdate as Aug. 15, 2002 (the list was last updated on June 5).

I think this is the most recently active Katelyn Tuohy thread. She won NXN NE regional yesterday, running 17:06. Claire Walters 2nd in 17:27.

nice article on this competition re Tuohy and her teammates (notably Haleigh Morales):

Her speed has been slower this year than maybe the past two, although it can be hard to compare across years. Still, it seems that those who were projecting her to keep on getting better at a reasonably fast race but she was so far ahead of others early it seemed quite unlikely. She is very good, but not quite the best superstar ever.

As dominant as Tuohy has been, it's nice to see she can win the tight ones too.

I watched the last 800 and it was super-gutsy from all 3. That last series of hills gassed all of them.
