The year one sits out, aka the redshirt year, one is typically NOT on the roster.

So he's not on the track team, not listed on the football roster, and not listed as a student. Do you know if he is alive?

OK, all joking aside, I hope he shows up and gets the support he needs. He is a great talent.

The first 10 redshirt freshman I looked up on the 2019 Oregon roster also appear on last year's roster as freshman. You're free to look up the rest of them.

So I have the right answer to the question which is that if he was part of the Oregon football program he'd show on the roster in all likelihood.

Hinds Community College Head Coach Reginald Dillon has confirmed that Cooper is indeed enrolled at the school and on the team despite not being listed on the schoolís roster. Hinds also has former high school standouts Khance Meyers and Terrance Laird on their team and have produced 21 individual national championships and three NJCAA records in Dillionís 17 seasons as head coach of the menís and womenís track and field programs.

OK, good to know. I hope 'not on the roster' means 'we're sorting out eligilbility issues' which can be resolved. I'm sure we're all rooting for this kid that has had 'focus' issues.

edit - I see a start of a schedule for the team that would be fun to see him compete in:

    JAN 20 BIRMINGHAM, AL
    JAN 27 BIRMINGHAM, AL
    FEB 1 LSU
    FEB 8/9 BIRMINGHAM
    FEB 15 LSU
