    Where do you get that?
For OUTdoors, I have Syd Maree's 3:52.44, then Joaquim Cruz's 3:53.00, followed by Ryun and Waldrop at 3:53.2 apiece!

Most times, I make my predictions based on athletes capable of breaking a record.
But sometimes, I look at a record, and just think, this one SHOULD be easy to break!!

(I'm hesitant to do that anymore with distance records---even when there ARE athletes more than capable of breaking a record!! Too many tactical races in the distances!)

The JT tends to have big advances in distance, sometimes as a one-off!
I would LOVE it if Madison Wiltrout reached 200 feet!!

Very good blog by the way.

    1. How many colleges have four girls who can run solo 4:40 miles and faster now?
    2. How about 4x1500m?
    3. I guess no one care about 4x100 Shuttle Hurdle (KU can bring it down by a lot).
First, thank you very much for the compliment!!
About the 4 X Mile, Oregon & Stanford have the wheels!
You don't need to have all 4 legs at exactly 4:40!
For UO, Burdon & Hull seem capable of low 4:30's, then add Southerland around 4:38, and one more at 4:45 or so!
For Stanford, you have Cranny & Aragon for starters---both in the low to mid 4:30's!
    Add O'Keefe and....??

As GHM mentioned "solo". Not as easy as it may seem.

That would indeed be a major accomplishment for a freshman!

I would too, but the collegiate record is 204.
