Taliyah Brooks might be on Collegiate Record pace---or close!
In her 4580 last year, she went 8.13 & 1.84 in the 60H & HJ.
    She's gone 8.05 & 1.84 today!!

She bettered her score in the 3rd event also---12.16 today against her 11.97 in the 4580!

Definitely over 4600 pace so far!
    Her last 2 marks in the 4580 were 6.33 & 2:22.39!

    ADD:
Just did some math, and I don't get it!
She bettered her marks (from her 4580) in the 60H & SP, adding a total of 31 points!
    She equaled her HJ score!

But when I added the points for her 6.33 (953) and 2:22.39(792) from the 4580, I get a total score of just 4564---LESS than her 4580!!

    How is that possible??

    OK, friends!
I am NOT drunk or on drugs!
I'm not in any way suffering from brain malfunction!
    Sooooo.......
WHY am I seeing a score for Taliyah Brooks that's LESS than her 4580 from 2017
DESPITE her BETTERING her score in THREE events, and EQUALING her score in the 4th!

Then, when I add the points she'd get if she EQUALS her 2:22.39 from that 4580---she STILL comes up 7 points SHORT of that 4580!!!

    HOW is that possible??
    Please explain!!

    Thank you!!

Unfortunately, I am also not drunk or on drugs.
So I can answer you that her mark in the LJ from her 4,580 is 6.48 and not 6.33

    Thank you!
That means that the 2017 Athletics Annual (Peter Matthews) is wrong!!
They have her marks from the 4580, and they list her LJ as 6.33!!
I was using that as my source!

The 6.33 listed in her series in "Athletics" was the LJ mark of Brooks for 9th in the individual LJ the same day. Some kind of mix-up apparently. With 6.33 in the Pentathlon her score would have been 4.532 rather than 4.580, so the error should have been spotted just by checking the total score vs the marks listed in the five events.
