    If this is the case:

LOL, indeed. I love ALL T&F events, both sexes.

Seems you don't quite GET Ms Jones the way I do!
She has maybe THE most self-deprecating sense of humor among T&F athletes!
SHE said (before the race) that she was "insane" to want to do this!
A tweet today showed one of the Simpson's driving a car that was being WHUPPED by everyone else---and the caption (paraphrased) said the video "describes my race today".

    I LOVE Lolo!!
I was just pointing out the reality of her race SHE herself already had!

    Get a life, Dutra!

I think it was telling in terms of NBC's belief of what "fans" wish to see that the first view of the women's hurdles focused on Lolo. They barely give viewers a chance to even get a glimpse of the other competitors, much less their names. So Lolo is the face they hang on the marquee and I'm sure she was well-paid for that privilege. It's like DHN doesn't even exist.

For lack of a more logical place to put this info. Shelby Houlihan and Marielle Hall ran an excellent 3000m today in Boston. 8:36.01 and 8:40.20.

It's in the Armory. There's a cage area at the end of the track behind the second turn.

    LOL
Due to bobsled bulking, she's still carrying 15 pounds above her normal track weight, so her slow time at this point in the season is nothing to be concerned or jeering about.

I am very selective about athlete worship but I too love Lolo and do not understand why everyone does recognize her humor and authenticity. She may be past her hurdling prime but she is not past her personal prime.

I think this is her perfect distance sadly as she's not got the effort distribution for the full 400m nailed as yet and not quite the full on speed for the 200m that Thompson et al have. I would like to see her race a 200m at a major title without the 400m in her legs.
