I think the only confusion would occur if Dutch broke his own country's NR. That doesn't seem likely to happen.

Should have also mentioned that the NZ sports awards are called the Halberg Awards, after Sir Murray Halberg.

Older board members will remember Halberg won the 50000 gold at Rome in 1960, Commonwealth Games golds for 3 miles in 1958 and 1960; and WRs for 2 miles (8:30) and 3 miles (13:10) - all the while running with a rather useless withered left arm.

Great series. This makes him a favourite for WIC together with Stanek and Crouser (even if the latter has yet to compete....).

    Apologies, you are correct.
When I looked at the resultsmy screen didnít show the shot weight at the end of the series. I didnít scroll sideways as the underlining ========= indicated there was no more data past the last ======.

Good throws by the two juniors but not quite the quality throws I thought they were

Jake Robertson ran the Lake Biwa Marathon in 2:08:26, breaking Rod Dixon's 1983 NZ National Record by 33 seconds!
Robertson was 3rd in the race!
Dixon ran his time in the NYC Marathon of 1983!
