    Jeez, we've over this already.
Sauron's fealty to first Dark Lord, Morgoth, must be explicit and this tower is his obeisance to the Dark Lord.

Oh. Ok. But it looks more akin to Isengard. So, I am guessing that one can sit in the Tower and watch a track meet with Saruman. Smoke some old toby, oh, and I hear the salt pork is especially good.

The other day my track-loving cousin was in town so we walked around the new Hayward Field. He asked about the big tower and I said it was a mostly useless appendage I've taken to calling Uncle Phil's Dick Extender.

My cousin told me that when our fathers were both at UC Berkeley in the 40s they called the Hoover Tower at rival Stanford (named after ex-Pres and engineer Herbert Hoover) "Hoover's Last Erection". Didn't hear what Stanford calls Cal's Campanile . . .

Any name suggestions for Cal's tower?
Ours was simply called (phonetically): HooTow (rhymes with MooCow)

Berkeley's is Needledick, apropos for the male student body . . .
