That seems really small for a MEAC-SEC matchup but somebody must know something. One of the things that makes college football so special is its gameday pageantry and traditions that are unlike anything else in sports. To get everyone in the college football spirit, here's a marching band from another MEAC school demonstrating its gameday spirit:

Never seen Norfolk State before. I love the HBCU bands. They are uniquely American. I love when the different HBCU bands do their own versions of Funk Train.

Speaking of Norfolk, if you ever want to piss someone off from that area, call it "nor-folk." Folk said like folk music. That's wrong. It's "nor-fuk." Second syllable just like you say Suffolk.

USC is not a good bet to finish in the playoffs.
They lost their go-to, anchor receiver (JuJu) and their most explosive game changer (Adoree Jackson) and most of their offensive line.
And they play a very challenging schedule that probably will result in some early season losses or at least very close games.

Having spent some time there, I have rarely heard the R in 'nor'. It's more a 'naw' or 'nah' sound. Norfolk becomes nawfuk or nahfuk.

Now I get it. Someone at ESPN did know something but he had his HBCU's mixed up. 45-point underdog Howard, another MEAC school, pulled off the greatest upset in college football history 10 years after Appalachian State shocked the world at the Big House.

Dunno about Norfolk GH, but I am just happy to see that WSU remains UNDEFEATED after today's game winning 31-0

UCLA, 2nd biggest comeback in NCAA history to beat Texas A&M.

Texas A&M forum has the best posters I've seen, and they are in rare form tonight. Thank God college football is back. Baseball just doesn't quite do it.
