    Said Aouita went sub-
    1:45
    3:30
    3:50
    5:00
    7:30
    13:00
    27:30

Nice round marks for a male. Anyone else come even close to matching. And, what would be the nice round marks for female longer distance runners?

    Eliud Kipchoge's not too shabby at 3:33 and sub 7:30, 12:50, 26:50, 60:00 and 2:03

Only one other runner, Augustine Choge, has run both sub-1:45 and sub-13; and Choge also went sub-60, but never ran a good 10K time and has a mile best of 3:50.01.

No one but Aouita has run both sub-1:45 and sub-27:30; Alan Webb (1:43.84/27:34.72) is the only one to even come close.

And he did all of that in a single season! There probably won't be anybody else to replicate such a single-season span of performances in our lifetimes.

Daniel Komen broke all from the 1500 to the 5000. His best 10K was 27:38. His best 800 is unknown.

Jenny Simpson is on the 800m startlist for Zagreb IWC (Aug 29), against 4 women who've all gone under 2min this season (including Ajee Wilson) and with a pacemaker with 1.57.9 pedigree. This might be her chance!
