When Konstanze Klosterhalfen ran 8:29.89 in Birmingham yesterday, I think she joined a rather select group of women with career marks of sub-2:00 for 800, sub-4:00 for 1500, sub-8:30 for 3k, and sub-15 for 5k. I have been reviewing this and perusing all-time lists briefly since yesterday, and have found these five (plus KK):

    Genzebe Dibaba 1:59.37, 3:50.07, 8:16.60i, 14:18.86i
    Laura Muir 1:58.69, 3:55.22, 8:26.41i, 14:49.12i
    Maryam Jamal 1:57.80, 3:56.18, 8:28.87, 14:51.68
    Sifan Hassan 1:56.81, 3:56.05, 8:28.90, 14:41.24
    Shannon Rowbury 1:59.97, 3:56.29, 8:29.93, 14:38.92
    Klosterhalfen 1:59.65, 3:59.30, 8:29.89, 14:51.38

Let me quickly get all my qualifying remarks and disclaimers in place:
    1. I am not suggesting that this level of marks in these four events is of equivalent quality -- these are 'round number thresholds' of the type that tend catch our attention.
    2. I am not suggesting that these six athletes are of equivalent accomplishment or talent (though it is a good group for a young athlete such as KK to join).
    3. I am not suggesting that no other women in the history of athletics were capable of such marks. Groups such as these are partly the result of, "Did the athlete have the occasion to run such an event?" or at least do so enough to go under a certain quality threshold, etc.

At the same time, one other reason such a list is relatively short is that getting marks of this quality across these four distances is in fact not that easy. In any case, I am not seeking for this to be "track-splained," much as I enjoy all things like that.

Rather, I am asking a statistical-historical question: Are there other women who are on this list? (This is not a trivia quiz question, by the way -- though of course I will be as always extremely impressed by what you all have in your athletics memories. )

I saw this tweeted the other day, MasterPo, and there were 7 names on the list. You had 6 so with LopenUupunut's extra one, I think that is it.

How do these resumes compare based on the IAAF scoring tables?

Thank you for the responses. I will compile a comparative scoring table chart.

Simpson ran 1:58 last 800 in Rio.
Seems like Obiri would be on this list?

Like Simpson, Obiri is off the list because her 800 PR is just over 2:00.

    Code:
    Obiri 2:00.54 3:57.05 8:20.68 14:18.37
    Simpson 2:00.45 3:57.22 8:29.58 14:56.26

I believe Wang Junxia ran the final 800 in her 3:51 1500 race in under 2 minutes. Of course she was way under the other barriers, plus she ran 29:31 in the 10000 and 2:24 in the marathon.

Interesting that all but one (I'm guessing Jamal has retired, from a brief look at the Internet) are currently competing.
