It is not a flaw in logic, or deductive reasoning. We completely misunderstand the issue. Rather it is their inability at the inductive reasoning or observational synthesis and model building art. They need a wider breadth experience, and of friendships.

The conception of a positron wave function as a reverse time electron wave function, I think predated the phone conversation between Feynman and his advisor. Nevertheless, I have seen the most ridiculous abstractions used to help people get some basic idea right, so for that reason Im not against the single electron idea!
