    No, we moved to Hilton Head, SC late in the summer. However, we evacuated yesterday and are back at our place in New Hampshire, which hasn't sold yet.

    I'm glad your wife talked some sense into you. The weekend before Katrina hit New Orleans, several family members tried to talk some sense into my great uncle, including my great aunt who was afraid but didn't want to leave him there by himself. Like you, they had several convenient places to seek shelter, including their weekend country home 60 miles away. They almost paid the ultimate price before being rescued by helicopter after spending two days stranded in a flooded house.
