I think he's got more going for him than Webb did.

    Splits:
    31.343 (31.343) 1:00.773 (29.430) 1:30.265 (29.492)
    2:00.518 (30.254) 2:30.933 (30.415) 3:01.173 (30.240)
    3:30.011 (28.839) 3:58.242 (28.232)

    Last 400 in 57.07.

Did they time him at 1500?
NO EXCUSE to not do so!
They (The Armory) KNEW he was going for the Mile record!
To NOT time him at 1500 would be THE WORST!!
    Webb's 1500 record went down today---rest assured!
The only question is---Was The Armory so Effing DUMB as to FAIL to time him there??

    Thank you!
But where did you get it?
I've been asking everyone on Twitter, and looking at ALL the possible places where they'd have it---MileSplit, RunnerSpace, The Armory Invite Results---and found nothing!

    Thanks again!

Hunter ran a smart race, not trying to stay too close to the rabbit.

Basically, he did the same as Webb did OUTdoors in '01 with El G in the race.
Held back, then kicked hard at the end to pass a few people and get the record!

Different kind of runner. Hunter's 800m PB is 1:52.98. He's got a nice "distance kick" and he can certainly be a competitive collegiate miler if he wants to be. But his future is at the longer distances.
