This also means that Felix's age record is under threat. Should be an interesting final!

Schippers and Thompson definitely looked the best and are the class of the field. McGrone was probably next best.
Asher-Smith ran a great PB, but not nearly as relaxed as the other top ladies.

The GB runner qualified. There is no need to file a protest. It is just a heat and VCB did not impede the runner.

Ato is right that was a rookie mistake by a former olympic champion. Lucky she didn't get DQed because it isn't like run a few steps she run the entire second 100 in front of the British runner.

What message are the judges sending?
Yes, it was the outside lane but that lane was not empty, otherwise it wouldn' be a problem! Adeoye was impeded at least psychologically. I hope VCB doesn't make the final.

Well that was circa 2005 for VCB, losing concentration on the straight. VCB is very lucky for not getting DQ'd. Had ADEOYE not get the automatic spot behind her she'd be toast!!. It was a huge rookie mistake! Hopefully she gets herself together and makes to it to the final.

**Irony is, in Adeoye's post race interview she said it helped her** -__ -
