    enough of this crap that Gatlin had a bad race, already! Adjusted for wind/altitude (see link now on front page) he was all of 0.01 off his all-time best (in addition to being only 0.01 behind Bolt).

    Bolt makes the =No. 8 performance ever, Gatlin No. 14.

    This was a magnificent race, well run by both men. Try celebrating that glorious fact rather than being so narrow-minded as being able to praise only one of the two. Talk about childish. (and I repeat, I was a Bolt backer the whole way)

    Speaking of #1 rankers, see the thread I just started on Current Events (where this particular discussion should stay) positing that if the T&FN Rankings were done today, there's a good chance that Gatlin would get No. 1 over Bolt.
