I doubt he'd have made the final even if fit; he doesn't run times like that outside Port of Spain and Clermont, which is why he wasn't on the formchart.

Bolt has only two silver medals at the World Championships (2007). How the hell can he be crowned the king of silvers? Anyways, I love your sarcasm

Same way that the winner of the 100m is considered the "fastest man in the world" to the mainstream public, regardless if the ever won before or ever held/hold the world record.

I love how dustoff posted that Bolt fans-bait twice when it didn't take the first time... Stirring the pot, are we?

Gatlin looked great, Bolt looked good (could've had a better start). Justin is known for running very fast times in the first round/semis.

It really all depends on that semi-final. Vicaut and Bromell are the ones that really impressed me that first round.

Bromell's start was a bit slow. He made up for it but he's yet to run three rounds where he improves round by round.

why didnt jamaica put in a replacement for KCB?

Gatlin and Bromell looked great. Bolt not as smooth but it was a typical Bolt heat, he will put out the same effort tomorrow and run 9.8.

I've got money on Gatlin so obviously Bolt is gonna win.

Powell should come 3rd but I dont think he will. Gay to battle for a bronze
