Holy inadequate cage, Batman! Harting just sailed one over the top and landed it two lanes onto the track over the heads of the long jumpers.

Perez leads the wDT with a 67.92. What an impressive athlete.

Stockholm and Oslo are the worst diamond leagues. Not much to see.

Great discus competitions, with a friendly wind. Dacres and Stahl over 68m, and Perez snaps Perkovic's 36-meet DL winning streak. Fun to watch. I kind of like the alternating rounds with men and women.

They're hurt by being too close to some major national championships.

I'd love to know why they don't just move them. Or cancel. I don't even know some of these athletes.

I agree, this weekend should be the dead period for DL meets. The national governing bodies of the biggest track powers should coordinate with the DL to make sure this doesn't happen, but I don't recall these meets taking place at this point on the calendar in recent years.

The problem is only a few countries have national champs around this time, yes it's major countries, but not everyone.

Right before worlds/Olympics when there is a dead period for meets is different because every country is sending athletes to compete at WC/OG.
