The other big conferences have separate threads, so decided to start one for the PAC-12.

So far, Conor McCullough took the HT, but no PR.
Brittany Mann took the SP--again no PR.

Each of the 3 heats of the Women's 1500 prelims got faster.
LeBlanc took the first in 4:23, Cranny the 2nd in 4:20, and Houlihan the 3rd in 4:17.
Should be a GREAT duel between Houlihan and Cranny!

In the Men's 1500 prelims, Ben Saarel took the 1st heat in 3:41, with John Gregorerk taking the 2nd at 3:51!!
Three Ducks led that 2nd heat!

Dior Hall (13.14) and Sasha Wallace (13.36) took the 2 heats in the 100H prelims.
I hope Hall has a HUGE breakthrough---something like 12.70---in the final!

    The Men's 110H prelims were SLOW---only 1 guy under 14.00 (13.96)!!

Vanessa Jones of USC had the fastest 400 prelim at 51.92.
    All 4 USC women qualified!

Pete Lauderdale of AZ had the fastest Men's 400 heat with 46.28.
Marcus Chambers of OR took the other heat in 46.57.

    That's it....so far!

Prandini has withdrawn from all her events for undisclosed reason.

Jasmine Todd had the fastest 100 prelim, at 11.12 (+0.6).
Ky Westbrook took heat 2 in 11.34, also legal wind.
SIX women from USC qualified for the semis!
How many from 1 school are allowed?
    Aren't there limits?

You can have as many athletes as scoring places, so theoretically eight per event.

While I'm enjoying watching the Big West meet live on Fox Pacific, it is frustrating (and primitive) that the Pac-12 network provides no viewing option at all for Pac-12s until the taped showing a week from now.

Jan Thoins of WA took the PV with 18-6.50.
    Never heard of him before!
Washington had 4 guys score, total of 25 points!!

Even without Prandini, the Duck women lead UCLA after 6 events, 62 to 38!!

SEVEN women qualified for the final in the 200 from USC!
While Jasmine Todd should win tomorrow (Fingers crossed!!), if USC gets spots 2 through 8, their point total for this one event would be 29!

    And if Todd loses!!

Story has been updated to state that Prandini was apparently ill, not injured (per teammates).

Ida Storm won the HT today.
    I think that's so ironic!!

    A storm hit LA yesterday.
And a Storm hit LA today!

    LOL
