Who U kiddin'? Of course he could!

Alas, there has always been a piece of me that wishes I were born just 10 years earlier, to see the high-schoolers in NYC run 100y on the Armory wood. My freshman year was 1980-81, and by that time they stopped running 100y indoors.

Good point. He is fortunate that there is no rule that says all indoor marks set between April 1 (the start of outdoor season for many) and November 30 (the end of cross-country season for many) will not be accepted.

They should have put cameras at the 50m, 55m, 60m and 100y marks.

Enjoy the Hell out of Bolt and to be fair, he's just coming back. I just wish that there was stronger competition and to change it to an indoor venue seems kinda of sudden.

My mistake, beebee. That Charlie Greene mark was an outdoor mark. Unless I missed anything (and I probably did), the most recent indoor 100y record goes as far back as 1986. Three Germans (Soren Schlegel, 1981, Thomas Schröder, 1984 and Steffen Bringmann, 1986) all ran 9.50y.

    Charlie Greene...

When asked why he wore sunglasses during his races...

    "Re-entry man!"

    Fucking lol!

Seems kind of contrived and circus like going back to the one on one competition staged in Toronto in 97.
