    Interesting information. I never thought hard training was bad for your teeth and gums. That explains why I never became an Olympian.

    If that were true (I'm skeptical . . . as usual), it could be explained by the fanatical lengths that the world's most elite must go to become and remain the best. I can only imagine the monomaniacal sacrifices they make in their obsessions with performance. But then again, there are too many super-stars with brilliant teeth, so Ima hafta call some BS here.
