    I think this is a lock for Shelly. The only way she doesn't get the DL title is if Kerron Stewart won and Shelly finished out of the top three.

    Russell, Anderson and Pierre have been running pretty well post-WCs (although not on SAFP's level), as have some others. This race is almost more interesting for what these gals each can run (Dafne?!)

    Jeter won both in 2011.

    What will be historic (the Jamaica Observer fugged it up) is that she'll be the first to do a double-double: both WC and DL titles in the same year.

    Nothing against SAFP, but creating history by winning the double in WC and the DL sounds exaggerated because the latter just existed for 3 years

    put another way: since '11 was the only previous year it could have happened, if it does this year, that will mean a 50% success rate, which isn't "historic" at all :mrgreen:
