    This is impressive!
In 2010 Jacko Gill threw 22.60 with 5kg and 20.76 with 6kg so this is a very good mark!
However, Bukoviecki usually competes much more than Jacko and this is very positive in my opinion.

Gill only turned 16 in 2010, so you should be comparing Bukowiecki's marks to Jacko from 2011. Those were 24.45 and 22.31, so he still has some way to go, but that's hardly a problem. I'd actually start worrying if he matched Gill's mark at the youth level

UCLA Redshirt Freshman Braheme Days (DOB 1/18/95) set a new American Junior Record for the 6k implement at USATF San Diego/Imperial Championships on 6/14/14.

    21.16/69-5.25

His series included two throws farther than the previous record of 20.65 (Sean Shields). [Of course, Carter's 20.65 with the 16 lb ball is intrinsically superior mark].

    19.91 21.16 20.10 Foul 20.71 20.04

Why is Braheme Days playing with the 13lb shot. Time for him to put on his bag boy pants and move to the 16 pounder.

That's something I would like to see. A shot putter competing in khakis.

Is he eligible for the Junior Worlds?

Born 1/18/95, so I would think that the World Junior Championships would have something to do with him "playing" with the 6kg shot.

Personally, I can't begrudge a true freshman for redshirting his first year in college while getting acclimated. And in a year like 2014 with no U.S. National team being selected for anything except the World Juniors, it would make a lot of sense to set that meet as a goal. He was a bronze medalist at the IAAF World Youth Championships in 2011, and international competition like the World Juniors is a tremendous developmental experience for someone who plans a long career in the sport.

At least this throw does show some improvement as his sr year in hs was not as good as his jr year.

You may have missed his 16# shot mark from a week ago (07June) at the Southern California USATF Championships of 18.99/62-3.75, which is certainly one of the top American Junior marks of the year.
