    Bolt wins in 9.77!

    Carter second....

    Was CLarke third? Carter ran him hard in the first 60-70m.

    hahaha, nice picture.

    Oh yeah, and Bolt just ran the fastest time in the 100m this season. Blake's performance was so good that it made a 9.76 WL an after-thought. Crazy.

    The Belgian KU Leuven Biomechanical Team laserbeamed this race entirely (300 frames per second). The majority of publications on the web is in the dutch language. The excellent Sciencedaily.com however has a good summary of it's results, although a good comparison with Bolt's WR is kind of blurry, due to different used methods and way of presenting data.

    Summary from another source;
    1. He lost the most time during the first 4 strides of the race in Brussels. In the first 5 meters (approximately 4 strides) Bolt achieved a speed of 21.4 km/h, while in Berlin he reached 25 km/h in the same distance. In the following 3 strides, he made up for the lost speed and performed comparably to his world-record race.
    2. In Brussels, Boltís speed peaked at the 65m3 mark (Ed. ??, another source 67,13m) while in Berlin he accelerated for another pace (Ed. step) before his speed decreased. His average speed in the first 75 metres was approximately 0.5 km/h higher in Berlin than in Brussels. His top speed in Berlin was 44.5 km/h. In Brussels it was Ďjustí 43.99 km/h.
    3. In the last 10 meters, Boltís speed was 0.5 km/h faster in Berlin than it was in Brussels.

    Maximum speed after 67,13m with 43,99km/h.
    Endspeed with 41,94km/h.

    Speed after every 5 meters from start to finish.
