    I've heard good things about that race and I will try to buy it.

    I thought the women's 10km in Athens was good too but I really like long distance races when there are about 8 or 9 athletes left on the last lap and it turns into a last lap sprint. That's why I like the M1500m from Barcelona and the W5000m from Paris (well the first 11 laps were pretty boring but an interesting climax)

    The men's 800m at the Atlanta Olympics had a great finish with four guys breaking the Olympic record.

    The men's 100m final in Athens 2004 was another remarkable four-way finish.

    The best duel was Gebrselassie vs Tergat in Sydney.

    1991 WC Long Jump Lewis and Powell every round was awesome!!! :shock:
    "if you can talk within 1 minute of finishing a distance race without gasping for air you didn't run your best"

    but unless the winner had run a 1'41+, it's still difficult to see him as the champ with the "man" forced to watch at home chewing a blue-cheese & bacon bagel...

    I agree with you...that race was terrific

    Also the race of Jonathan Edwards in Goteborg 1995 is a triple jump manual...even if Powell and Lewis of Tokyo have got something more :wink:
