2008

• U.S. TRIALS

  Eugene is the host for the 2008 Games Trials and T&FN will be there with a large tour group. The tour is close to being sold out, so call right away re availability. Current deposit requirement is $850/person. Click here for more details.

• THE GAMES IN BEIJING

  More than 600 fans have already signed on for TAFNOT 2008 in Beijing, China, sure to be a fascinating experience. August 8-24. Current deposit is $5700 per person for the 12-night tour, $6250 for the 18-night tour. Click here for 2008 Games Tour Details.

2009

• USATF NATIONALS/WORLD CHAMPS TRIALS

  Eugene hosts. Probably third week in June. No details yet. $75 /person deposit.

• WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS

Osaka hosted a superb World Championships and it’s time to look toward the next Worlds---2009 in Berlin, in the newly renovated state-of-the-art 1936 Olympic Stadium. One of the planet’s great capitals, Berlin is a city of extraordinary attractions---a tourist mecca. The current deposit requirement is $500/person and we’ll be taking more than 300 fans. Great optional extensions: 1) Prague, Vienna, Budapest; 2) Zurich Weltklasse, Lausanne (IOC Museum, etc.), Heidelberg, Nuremberg. The basic tour dates are arrival on August 13 and departure on August 24. Our two confirmed hotels are the Hilton and the Maritim Pro Arte, both on the S- or U-Bahn line to the stadium with no changes. Click here for more details.

• WINTER GAMES

Vancouver, B.C., Canada. The dates are February 12-28, and we'll offer various length-of-stay options based on 6-day units. We're still in the planning stages, but the deposit requirement is $50 per person. T&FN has operated two previous Winter Games tours, the last being to Calgary. As a wild guess, a 6-night stay, with lodging, ticket package, transport as needed, tour functions, etc., should be about $4,000/person.

• USATF NATIONALS/WORLD CHAMPS TRIALS

  Eugene hosts again. Probably third week in June. No details yet. $75 /person deposit.

• WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS

Daegu, South Korea, has been selected as the site for World Championships XIII, cetain to be a memorable experience. No dates or info yet. $50 deposit.

• U.S. TRIALS

Eugene, where else? Track Town will repeat as the Trials host, determining the team for London. Probably end of June, beginning of July. $75 /person deposit.

• THE GAMES IN LONDON

London has been chosen as the host of the 2012 Games, and T&FN will be there with our 16th tour to the Summer quadrennial extravaganza (our first was Helsinki 1952). No details yet, of course, but early signup is always important for best priority for hotels, tickets, etc. The current deposit is $50 per person. More than 250 have already signed up. Games dates: July 27-August 12.
