Four blissful days in the Bahamas, soaking in the sunshine after the Winter doldrums, and a dynamite two-day track meet (April 22 and 23) to boot.

It’s the 2017 edition of The IAAF World Relays. Last year’s inaugural meet had a full stadium exulting to world record performances, amazing individual efforts, and sensational competition. As Sieg Lindstrom said in his T&FN story on the meet: “What if they gave a track meet and everyone in town came?”

You can be there for the next meet, to be held again at Nassau’s Thomas A. Robinson stadium. Our hotel is the beautiful four-star British Colonial Hilton, adjacent to Nassau’s downtown district (easy walk to the Straw Market, Bay Street Shopping and a plethora of dining establishments), and with a stunning private beachfront to occupy your leisure hours.

The two-day meet includes the 4x100, 4x200, 4x400, 4x800, and distance medley for men and women, and perhaps more. Many of the world’s top runners will be on hand. Last year, the U.S. took 7 of the 10 relays, setting world records in both distance medleys.

The tour includes prime tickets to the meet, busing to/from the stadium, four nights lodging at the British Colonial Hilton www.bchiltonnassauhotel.com (with an option to extend your stay, if desired), gala dinner party, airport transfers, city sightseeing tour, goodies, etc.
