    Speaking of a down year, other than his National Championship, Bernard Lagat has been next to invisible. I wonder if he is taking it easy, in preparation for next year . . . or if age has finally caught up with him. If so, he will be sorely missed!!!

    Here's my "off the cuff" picks for USA's Top 10 (overall, outdoors).
    And subject to DRASTIC revision before year's end!! LOL

    1. Gatlin or L Merritt
    3. Rupp
    4. Hardee
    5. Jager
    6. Claye
    7. Kovacs/Hoffa (??)
    8. Solomon
    9. Centrowitz
    10. D Allen

    Off the top pf my head: Jeff Henderson, Rodgers, Tinsley could fill anywhere after Hardee and knock the last three off the top-10.
