    another for the semi-invisible category, and I'll make it a trivia question. Late '50s detective show, in which his assistant answered the phone but you never saw her face. Just a sultry voice and a great pair of legs.

    What was the name of the show? (it was the detective's name)

    I remember the series. The detective was real gem, but his name is a fugitive from my memory. No idea to whom the legs belonged, but the obvious guess is Betty Grable's million-dollar gams.
