[I wouldn't put Gharib that high. He had an awful run in Lisbon.

I think Chepkemei might be worth a bet. I predicted her in 2nd place. Wouldn't put Okayo that high, I think her best days are behind her.

1/2M don't usually mean a hill of beans to full M - kk was no great shakes at 1/2M & he was undisputed world number 1 at one time

haven't a clue - without paula, cathy or those "gucci" galz from japan, all the other names look the same to me

Yes, he's had a terrible accident; only has one leg now; can probably only run 2:08 and change...

When was the last time an American (USAian) was actually favored to win a super major marathon (e.g., the top marathon of the year)? Note that Kastor is a narrow choice on both lists of odds (9/4 vs 10/4 on London, and 7/4 vs 11/4 via Eldrick). I suppose that KK in Chicago, but was he an American then or not?

Not sure about Tomescu. She says she's only in 2:24/2:25 shape but she might be bluffing.
