Ask any police department how many differents versions of one incident they get. Eyewitnesses are notoriously biased in their stories. Andre's drinking buddies would not be the most credible...

Every now and now I look at how the USA is progressing depth-wise in the various events. Near as I can tell, this is the best year ever for two events for men, both of them throws:
HT - 237'11...
Isn't that intuitively obvious to everyone? I mean, duh, how else would a Flux Capacitor work?

That's DOCTOR Pego to you peons! ;)

Lotsa overlap with the above.
I'm afraid I see a lot of clear favorites, which ratchets down what we typically think of as the excitement of the events. In the events I don't list, I am definitely...
Because indoor venues, with the tighter tracks and cramped venues, present a circumstance where marks are VERY typically impaired. That's why you can't set indoor running records on a 300m track. ...
I just googled it. 2000 people with no auto access to ANYTHING? More power to you - I could not do that!!!

If a doctor comes on here and tells me s/he believes it, I'd be glad to retract my extreme skepticism . . .
Hmmm, your disenchantment with the USATF (deservedly so!) has got you in an ornery mood in regard to the sport you so fervently love and given so much to. In regard to the above:
1. But not cheap...
It's not like they set out to screw wPVers - anyone in the HJ, LJ, TJ, and SP (with metal shot) is under the same rules.
They're not 'screwing' anyone; they're just saying 'jump higher' than anyone...

The capacity of a normal male's stomach is indeed 1 gallon (~ 4 liters).
He (supposedly) drank TEN gallons in 45 minutes. He's a big guy, and I'm sure his stomach may have been even bigger than...
My biggest question is: has this person actually been training for the podium?
What's the dealio on Tikhon? Events for Souleiman, Iguider? The Marathoners and Walkers, as you mention . . . all...

Y'all wanna get sloshed, knock yourself out! I'm talking anatomy here and 45 minutes isn't enough 'rental time' to make it possible.
Maybe it's just me - I couldn't drink a 6-pack of water in 45...
The Dutch contest is up and running.
I'm gonna be one bleary-eyed little mofo by Aug 21 . . .

I'm sorry, but that's anatomically impossible, even for a man his size!!
He couldn't pee them out fast enough to make room for TEN GALLONS of ANY liquid.
Whachu talkin bout??!!

Here's betting home-town girl, Murer, rises to the occasion and has something to say about the podium. Not to mention Silva, who hangs out there too.
A nice little tailwind provides a HUGE advantage over any indoor venue. If you did it indoors, it's worth the same or better than outdoors. I agree with the 'one record' concept.

Here's betting there are no tears shed. Missing stars are quick forgot.
Disagree. LaV is a slight guy, esp. compared to Bubka. He relies on technique almost more than anyone else. He's walking (vaulting) a very fine line out there when he's going high. I would posit that...
Very well - you two are dismissed. I mean it. Leave.
Talk about First World Problems.
KH, in the 400H next year. Eye on the WR?
I have just one comment: Go for it!!
Even as a TOE, I can't get too worked up over spelling mistakes except in formal typed essays (use your spellcheck, nitwit!). On the other hand, as I tell my students often: people will judge you on...

She would have been the favorite and who knows, maybe she did have another WR in her, but this little hissy fit is unbecoming. She should be furious at the Russian Fed and no one else.
