I didn't want to hijack a thread. But I wanted to thank you for sharing the fact that you were brought to tears by a track meet.

I've been to the OT's several times and it is the greatest.

But I went by myself to one of the last Millrose games at MSG, and watching then high schooler Robbie Andrews celebrate his victory i just flat out began to sob.

I also began tearing up when I met Michael Carter and telling him how much track meant to me. I happened to be at a dinner for SMU football Lettermen and I sat next to him. I took him by surprise when I simply said: Okay, I gotta hear about 81'3".

Anyway - thank you for the post - and thank you for all that you do for the sport I love so much it brings me to tears.

    Hi gh:

This is GHM. I used to go by GH in this forum but as a respect to you I changed to GHM. I still go with GH in my circle.

I want to start a serous discussion of mixed 4x100 and 4x400 relay. Swimming started it and I think it is most exciting relay races due to unpredictability. There was also 4x400m Youth championship and I attach a link for you to watch. Is it possible to campaign USATF or IAAF for these events to be tested in some competitions?
